The short version: we introduce you to contractors, we are paid by them, and any work you have done is a contract between you and the contractor, not with us.
Who we are
This site is operated by Eduscale Solutions Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland under company number 727644.
We are not a contractor
Insulation Dublin is a referral and matchmaking service. We do not install insulation, we do not quote for work, we do not supervise work, and we do not employ or control the contractors we introduce you to. Nothing on this site should be read as an offer by us to carry out building work.
Contractors are independent
Contractors we introduce are independent businesses. They set their own prices, carry their own insurance, hold their own SEAI registration, and contract with you directly. You should satisfy yourself about any contractor before engaging them, including checking their current SEAI registration on seai.ie and confirming their insurance.
We are not party to your contract with a contractor and we are not liable for the work they carry out, the prices they charge, delays, or disputes between you.
How we are paid
Our service is free to homeowners. We are paid a fee by contractors on work they win through an introduction from this site. We disclose this because you should know it: it means we have an interest in you going ahead with work, and you should weigh our suggestions accordingly.
Grant information
Grant amounts, eligibility rules and scheme mechanics published here are taken from SEAI and are shown with the date we last checked them. They change. We make a genuine effort to keep them current and we cite the source page so you can verify every figure, but you must confirm your own eligibility and the current amounts with SEAI before committing to any work or expenditure.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, structural or building- regulations advice.
Using the site
Use the enquiry form only for genuine enquiries about your own property, or one you are authorised to enquire about. Do not submit anyone else’s personal details without their knowledge.
Liability
We provide this site and the introductions in good faith. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from work carried out by a contractor, from reliance on grant information that has since changed, or from any decision you make about your property. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
